HIGH VOLUME: gear wheel production

The RWS 4AL/RL is a fully automated laser welding machine for manufacturing different types of gear wheels. The left picture shows in the middle the two conveyors that bring in the parts to weld. The orange robot in het middle of the picture picks the parts up and position them two by two on the four clamping chucks. While two gear wheels are welded the robot unloads the two welded gear wheels and loads the parts for two new ones. The welded gear wheels are put on the left slide that leads to the unloading zone. At top speed this machine can manufacture 400 gear wheels per hour.
