SCRAP REMOVAL
Automatically removing large pieces of scrap material before the end product is unloaded has numerous advantages:
- Final product and waste material don’t mix and therefore can’t damage each other
- Removing large pieces of waste is cheaper and less time consuming compared to the alternative:
Laser cutting the waste into small pieces.
The pictures bellow show how large pieces of scrap are lifted from the cutting table and dropped on a conveyor belt. The scrap is lifted using suction cups.
