Sheet welding – Cooling elements
Before welding, the smaller disk (with two supply openings) is positioned on the larger disk. The special welding head firmly pushes the top disk onto the bottom disk in the welding zone. This ensures that the disks are melted together when the laser heats the welding zone.
After the two supply tubes are manually welded on the supply openings, the cooling element is inflated by a liquid to transform it into a 3D-cooling element.
These cooling elements are installed in tanks to cool their content.
