3D objects – Robot

Robots are well suited for automatically loading and unloading 3D-shaped objects.

In the picture you see how a one robotarm is used for loading 2 different pieces that together make a gearwheel. The pieces are picked up from automatic conveyor belts and placed on clamping benches that hold the pieces together while they are laserwelded together. Afterwards the welded pieces are again removed by the robot arm.

The picture shows a total of 4 clamping benches: while 2 gearwheels are welded the robot unloads 2 welded gearwheels and loads the parts for 2 new ones.
